Objectives

The Student Council exists to represent the voice of the students, promote their ideas and advocate their views and interests. It is a fundamentally democratic and non-political institution, with all students given equal opportunity to participate. Its role includes helping the school to serve its students as effectively as possible and making students aware of wider issues, in addition to playing an important role in establishing links with the community.

What we will always enforce is Democracy, Equality, Fraternity, Education, Leadership, International Affairs and the core element humanity. In the following, the objectives of our campaign will be listed.

  • Help and receive Help Helping students to develop important life skills such as project management, time management and leadership skills by offering special classes (funded by the Uni) to cover those fields.

  • See and Act Raising awareness among students of prevalent issues in society, including health, financial and environmental issues.

  • Mental health is always a neglected topic? Not anymore. By introducing mental health week(s), we want to ensure students are informed properly about the topic, and if affected by mental health issues support them to take care for themselves, offering psychological help delivered by our school psychologist and counselors.

  • Charity Fundraising Establishing links with the local community through our fundraising projects, for one. Charity work is important and concerns us all. With raising money through charity projects, we will donate a large sum of the money to good causes, local and abroad.

  • International Affairs Tending to international affairs is of importance. By offering more seats for exchange students from abroad, creating excursions and projects to foreign countries, we'd like to reinforce public relations with other universities abroad and establish a brotherly bond between the universities. Fraternity.

  • Education Increasing engagement and interest in education, as well as providing resources for students to improve their learning experience and cater to each person's specific needs.

  • Equality Promoting an equal environment where students from all walks of life are able to voice their concerns in a safe manner and fair solutions for them can be found.

  • Communication Proper communication is essential. To be heard, we need to listen. Fortifying the communication between professors and students is a concern of us we want to take care of as well by creating opportunities for both sides to communicate and exchange ideas outside the class room.

  • Climate Change affects us all and we aim to hold a climate change month in which environmental relating projects will be discussed and accomplished to help sustain our earth.
